Currey & Company warrants its products for one year against defects in materials and workmanship. warranty
Made in India
The Gobi Vase, Set of 2 from Currey & Company achieves a remarkable visual deception – glass that appears to be ceramic. This innovative trompe l'oeil effect comes from a proprietary coating applied to mouth-blown glass. The colorful streaking against white backgrounds creates a pattern reminiscent of desert landscapes, fitting for its namesake. Unlike typical glass pieces, these vessels possess a matte quality that further enhances their ceramic-like appearance. The experimental production process ensures that no two pieces are identical, emphasizing their artisanal nature. These vessels represent the intersection of traditional glassblowing techniques with contemporary material innovation, resulting in truly distinctive decorative objects.
