The Glo-Ball Table Lamp by FLOS provides diffused lighting. The diffuser consists of an externally acid-etched, hand blown, flashed opaline glass and a die-cast aluminum threaded ring nut with anodized finish. 30% fiberglass reinforced injection-molded polyamide base. Gray painted, die-cast aluminum diffuser support. Switch located on cord with On/Off for 13 and 17.7 Inch options. Smaller sizes can be plugged into a socket and wired to a dimmer wall switch.

I love this lamp, I bought this for my son's room as he needed general, not direct lighting. It provides a lot of light, yet is unobtrusive. I immediately purchased a second one when the first one broke after a fall.

We got two of the Glo-ball lamp for our beside tables and we love them. The light is soft enough for the evening and bright enough that you can read, etc.

I bought this light to act more as a night light and it is extremely bright. I wish it had a dimmer on the switch and that would make it perfect. I purchased a lower wattage bulb, but I'm not sure that will do the trick, we'll see
