The Frechin A LED Rechargeable Table Lamp from DCW editions features a ribbed glass column atop a low, circular base, in a cordless format that moves freely between surfaces without being tethered to a socket. Designed by Jean-Louis Frechin, the piece brings together borosilicate glass, marble, and aluminum, placing materials of very different characters in deliberate conversation with one another. The translucent tube glows above the dense, grounded base, and the rechargeable construction makes the lamp as practical as it is considered.
