The design is updated for modern times but still features notes of Wright's signature style; a crosshatch base of natural oak secures the seat, extending a strong wooden frame up to tailored fabric surrounding plush padding with tailored corners. Wright's focus on simple geometric shapes is enhanced by the natural surfaces of the woodgrain, with folded planes and linear accents adding textural intrigue to an otherwise simple form, uniting the surface elements.
