Using the most modern materials, the Kartell Francois Ghost Mirror brings to mind milled crystal frames of the past. Here, the frames are made of clear or colored transparent polycarbonate with seagull wing details. The available color palette borrows from that of Murano glass to create a striking effect of depth and richness. Designed by Philippe Starck.

This is a great addition to our powder bath! I love that the wallpaper is seen behind the clear mirror frame.

Stunning Mirror - Very Pleased!

I purchased this mirror in the large size in yellow to go in a retro modern black, white, and gray room. The yellow frame is striking and really pops against my white walls. I am delighted with the look of the mirror. It is well constructed and definitely a conversation piece. I must point out that the hanging hardware sent with the mirror did not support its size or weight, so other hardware had to be located. Secondly, the mirror did not arrive well packaged. The box was severely beat up, and the mirror itself was not sufficiently padded in the box. I am surprised it arrived intact considering how it was packaged.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Kartell

Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
