The Francis Mirror by Petite Friture is a functional work of art from Parisian designer Constance Guisset. Inspired by a visit to a painter’s studio, this designer was captivated by the beauty of moving pigments swirling off of a paintbrush dipped into water. Each mirror pattern is hand-painted and digitally altered to achieve a semi-transparent, multi-layer, and tinted aesthetic. Evocative of old Venetian mirrors, both the distinctive color haze and slightly convex back, allow this piece to create a dreamy scape with a great sense of perspective.
