Sit back and relax in the comfort of the Eames Molded Plywood Lounge Chair with Wood Legs from Herman Miller. An iconic 1940s design from the minds of forward-thinking spouse designers Ray and Charles Eames, it earned them a spot at Herman Miller and blends old-school engineering with a timeless construction. Two curved plates of plywood are held at ergonomic angles to form the seat and back, bolted securely to a broad structural rib that connects two sets of single-piece plywood legs that form robust support for the seating.

The chair is a classic and looks beautiful anywhere. it's sturdy, yet bouncy just as it should be. I got it in red stain for my living room and it is a perfect addition. The red is more orange-red and it very vibrant under artificial lighting. overall a great purchase. i'll keep this chair forever.

Herman Miller

One of the most influential brands in American design, renowned for pioneering iconic mid-century modern furniture and lighting solutions, Herman Miller began its storied history in 1905 as Star Furniture Co. in Zeeland, Michigan. In 1923, businessman Herman Miller lent his name to the company, signaling a new chapter under the visionary leadership of his son-in-law, D.J. De Pree. This marked the beginning of Herman Miller's transformation into kingmakers of mid-century design.
