The Eames House Whale from Vitra swoops into the room, adding a sense of play, mystery, and sophistication informed by North American folk art. This scaled-down version of the Eames' marine décor underscores the iconic duo's love of being surrounded by items that are good to look at. The whale carries Eames' familiar flavor of fun. Each piece is sculpted from ashwood with smooth, comfortable features. Its fin, eyes, and mouth invite a closer look as they are painted by hand with contrasting colors.
