I ended up returning this product mostly because I didn't like how the controls work. The light has to be controlled by an app. I was mostly looking for a warm white light (approx 2700k) to match some other lamps in the space. It was not possible to set the color temp, you have to use a color wheel to approximate the white that you like and it was hard to dial in and replicate the desired color with the app. It seems like it's designed more as a color changing party light which wasn't the aesthetic I had in mind.

Nice accent light
I bought this light for the back patio and if the snow ever melts I plan to use it! In the meantime, I've used it as an accent light all over the house. It's a great light that plays tricks on your eyes. I thought I wouldn't like the color cycling but actually it's really nice. The battery charges and lasts as advertized (about 1 hour of charge per hour of light). My only complaint is that I thought it was supposed to charge inductively with the light still on. The battery has to be removed to charge.
