Clean and Classy
This doorbell is beautiful. Nice clean lines, contemporary yet works with our traditional 1972 exterior. Light makes finding the doorbell really easy. Excellent purchase!
Awesome Doorbell Button
One thing I really missed about my last house was my spore doorbell button. I was thrilled when I found the same Spore doorbell button at Lumens. I ordered the doorbell button right away and replaced the boring traditional one that came with my new home. It was easy to install and looks great. It blends in great with my contemporary / modern style. This doorbell button is hard to miss and It get lots of compliments. My previous Spore doorbell button looked and worked great for the six years I had it at my old home. I expect this one to be just as reliable.

Bad Design and Quality
This device is cheaply made, difficult to install (because of the very small screws used to connect it to household wiring), and, once installed, cannot be moved without destroying it.

Spore
Lamenting the lack of stylish modern doorbells available on the market, Ted Pierson and his business partner, Tom Gordon, founded Spore Doorbells in Seattle, WA, in 1997. Their focus in the design of their doorbells was simplicity and ease of use. Their first doorbell design, Square, fulfilled such goals with its clean shape and LED illuminated resin push button, and set the stage for the various Spore doorbell designs to come.
