Cubed 02 Sofa Bed

Due to working from home, my office/bedroom needed an update that looked less like a bedroom with a comfortable bed for guests. This sofa is the perfect size, great quality, easy to open/close, and comfortable.

Excellent quality, small profile queen sleep sofa. Fit in our limited space.

I was working with a lot of personal specs, but most notable were: (1) room-size constraint, (2) needing a queen size, minimum, and (3) adamant about not feeling the bars across your back when in the bed position. The magical bed exists and this is it! It's SO hard to tell from photos online how 1000% adequate it is as a queen (fact: it's actually an Olympic Queen/European Queen/ Super Queen. Called different things= 66"W×80"L, which is 6in wider than a normal queen.) I included a photo of it made up with queen bedding (jersey knit Standard Size Queen sheets stretch so they fit wonderful, but non-jersey knit Standard Size Queen sheets will be a major losing battle). I DID order a Olympic Queen fitted+padded mattress topper (all my beds have them). it's more like an 8/10 for firmness, so I added just a touch more of softness when sleeping and it's literally perfect. I am SO happy I found this for my den. I get to keep my den as a usable den AND have perfect guest accommodations without sacrificing the entire room simply for a traditional mattress.

Over the winter we stayed in San Francisco at an AirBnB that had this sofa bed in the small living room. Since the bed in the bedroom was only a full size one of us slept on this sofa bed - by the end of the stay we were fighting over it and the winner got to sleep on it. I have always hated sofa beds but this was really great. When we got back home we ordered one for our office and now it is the guest room at times. Our guests all say it is as comfortable as their beds at home. You can't go wrong with it.

We have a small guest room and needed to make the most of a small space. The "Full" size Cubed 02 sofa bed offers a sleeping surface that is a couple inches wider than a standard full size mattress and is about 4 inches longer. I'm 6'3" and the mattress has plenty of length for me. Overall, the full size is very spacious for a single person and is of a reasonable size for a young couple - or a couple of children. The sofa is comfortable for sitting. For sleeping, the bed is very firm on its own. We included the mattress topper in our purchase and would say it is an absolute must if you expect people to sleep on this sofa bed. Since the mattress is a non-standard size, we bout the matching mattress topper. (We use queen-size sheets on the full size sofa mattress.) Quality-wise, the sofa bed is very good. Definitely head and shoulders above something you might find at Ikea. We went with the "mixed dance natural" color and are glad we did - a very nice, light colored fabric that feels very durable. The Cubed 02 did require assembly, figure 30 to 60 minutes to assemble for two people. Folding does take some strength. You have to be able reach out over the sofa to pull the strap, and this is not a light weight sofa. This sofa is solid to both sit and sleep on, so that does mean it has some heft to it. If you are very petite or an older customer, you may need some help to fold and unfold the sofa. We can't say enough about Yliving's Customer Service. We did have a snafu with the delivery company, but we were able to talk to customer service reps at Yliving and they made sure were were 100% taken care of.
