The Cocoon Table Lamp from Jamie Young Co. gathers its squat body into dense horizontal ridges, giving it a layered, tightly wound texture. Crafted from spun bamboo, the base is hand-finished to highlight weathered patches and raised edges along each band, giving the surface a worn, organic feel. A drum shade with a rolled edge and a cylindrical finial complete the lamp, and natural variations in tone and grain ensure no two pieces look identical.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
