Norman Cherner’s most popular mid-century furniture designs live on in his sons’ Cherner Chair Company, founded in 1999 to reissue the Bauhaus-trained designer’s best work. Benjamin Cherner, a designer in his own right, founded the company with his brother Thomas, at first focusing on reissuing their famous father’s most popular plywood chair designs, and now offering Benjamin’s original designs as well.
