Architecturally inspired and shaped like a yurt, the Produzione Privata Bonne Nuit Table Lamp is a skillfully crafted glass fixture intended to remind one of the comforts of home. Fitting with the French expression “bonne nuit” (meaning “good night”), the softly diffused light puts forth a calming and reassuring light, warming the mood of spaces. The interior satin glass shade is able to be removed with the transparent glass chimney, exposing the interior bulb which consistently creates a nurturing diffused light.
Founded in 1990 by famed Italian designer Michele de Lucchi, Produzione Privata is a small-scale creative workshop dedicated to employing passionate artisans and exploring unique craft techniques. Among the resulting works are exquisite blown glassware and ceramics, which have been put to sparkling good use in a range of distinctive modern pendant lighting, table lamps and decorative vases.
