#sweepstakes Product was good. But I was charged twice for duties and taxes. Once by Lumens and again by UPS I got partial credit only from Lumens

It's brighter than most lamps of its size; dimmable, too, with a sliding switch. It's very versatile as a result. And most beautiful!

One of a kind ball lamp.

With so many ball lamps in the market, I was so happy to find this one. First, I have to say that all components exude quality. The base of the ball (which you can't see) it's all in chrome and it looks very nice with just the glass ball. The round chrome plate is fixed between the base and the ball and it reflects the light without bothering you. The only issue I found is the glass ball. Compared to Artemide or Olucce brands it falls behind them in quality. I wish they could upgrade this in the future.

Born in Venezuela, Pablo Pardo came to the US in the early 1980s and stayed. After getting his degree in industrial design from the University of Cincinnati in 1986, he designed for companies ranging from Fisher Price to Daimler Chrysler before settling in San Francisco. There he founded Pablo Designs in 1993, a lighting company specializing in refined designs that reinterpret light in its many forms.
