Binic Table Lamp

This lamp is really pretty and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it in a shop, the colors are really nice and the design sweet. BUT beware: 1) it will fall all the time face down, as soon as you touch the cable. It's so unstable that it fell at least 15 times in one year, although I'm very careful with it. I had to change the bulb each time. The base is tight and the top faces forward, which makes it unstable by nature. 2) Removing the lid to change the bulb became so challenging with the time that I need a suction cup now. 3) Don't buy if you need it to read as it faces down and it will only lighten the surface on which the lamp is placed. In other words it's just a beautiful design object, not a functional product at all.

Beautiful packaging and great color (as sold). The only problem is that the light bulb needed is on a European standards and is hard to find. Should be sold with light bulb to facilitate the installation.

We love this lamp. It is beautifully designed (primary reason for buying it) and very subtle. Loved the inspiration for it. It's been perfect for the baby's room. The light that come's out of it is actually quite strong for its size. Love that it swivels so that you can turn it to "dim" the light a bit but repositioning it. The color range is also great (we have the white and orange). However, i can't give it a perfect 5star because it does fall quite easily. It can be knocked over easily due to the small base and heavier "head" ...even by simply touching the cable. Not a huge deal but once the kid starts to walk we'll have to move it for sure. But all in all we love it!

I really wanted to love this lamp after I read about the designer's inspiration for creating it, but alas, I found it impractical. That said, I think it would work great in a kids room as a sort of night light, and I adore the color palette. I found it difficult to remove the face of the lamp to insert the bulb (which is not included). If you're looking for a playful lamp for a spot where you don't require a lot of light, go for it.

I have enjoyed this light for about a month now and decided to write my first review. Everyone who sees this lamp wants one or more. Charming and contemporary at the same time. Works in any space. Great item and good value.
