Better off than on

This light looks much better off than on. We have it in white in our dining room--it was chosen as a statement light that would not hang in front of picture windows--and the light it produces leaves a lot to be desired. First, the bottom slad in the design stays dark while the other slats glow, which gives it an odd look. Second, it produces a very harsh, almost blue, light given the material of the slats. It improved quite a bit with a dimmer, but still not ideal for the setting. Overall, I think this is proably a lot cooler on a wall for low level light than as a main ceiling light in a room.

It should be called the Small Bang. It looks bigger in the picture but even at 31" it looks small. Also people who see it think it was not expensive. Not what expected

We love our Big Bang light. We have it in our bedroom and it really makes a statement! The directions were clear and it was pretty easy to assemble as well. The only negative is that you need to take off the entire big bang part to change the light bulb and it is a bit complicated and time consuming. Overall this is a really nice looking and very functional light.

This is realy a one of a kind light. Not the kind of piece you would see everyday in peoples homes. Its a great conversation pice, adds a lot of sculptural value to any setting and just adds an awesome glow to the wall. When you walk into the room your eyes go straight to this piece. Somewhat expensive but certainly worth every penny.

Foscarini

Founded on the Murano island in Venice, Italy in 1981, Foscarini started out creating blown glass-based lighting. They eventually expanded into other materials (the first being the Havana in 1993), and moved in 1994 to the Marcon area of Venice, into a building that reflected the modern aesthetic of their contemporary lighting. Success led to brand stability and swiftly growing name recognition.
