The Bat Dining Chair Conic Base is visually light and decorative metal element of the Bat & Beetle conic base adds a sense of sculptural movement. The dining chair embodies the Scandinavian sensibilities of simplicity and functionalism along with the conceptual, poetic style we’ve come to know from Danish-Italian design-duo GamFratesi. Bat’s shape with its enveloping shell and graceful armrests provides a comfortable sit while evoking the distinctive shape of a Bat’s wingspan. The shared base style makes for a natural paring of the Bat & Beetle styles.

GUBI

When brothers Jacob and Sebastian Gubi took over their parent’s furniture business in 2001, their voracious search and acquisition of iconic designs transformed GUBI in to the internationally recognized design house it is today. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, GUBI is a purveyor of timeless and emerging lighting and furniture designs, many of which can be found in permanent collections around the world.
