The Balon Pendant from Niche finds the balance between minimalism and mid-century modern artisanship. Your pendant is designed by Jeremy Pyles, who showcases simple, geometric shapes. Meticulously made, the pendant’s rounded shade is composed of handblown glass, which exudes quality and refinement. A slender downrod of plated metal is secured by a canopy at your ceiling, which allows a brilliant LED contained within the shade to suspend in midair. The brightness level is adjustable when you use a TRIAC dimmer.

Niche

Niche was founded by accident. In 2003, Jeremy Pyles and Mary Welch were in the process of opening a home furnishings store in Manhattan, called Niche, but couldn't find inspiring display lighting for the storefront. So Pyles designed a glass pendant and had it custom blown in New York (where all Niche products are still hand-blown).
