This ceiling fan works like a Hunter fan does— very quiet and lots of air movement. Rated it down to 4 stars because the led light is not what I wanted. It uses those dot lights and even though the color temperature adjusts, it's not warm enough for me.

Hunter Fans

In 1886, the foundation for Hunter Fans was laid when John Hunter and his son, John C. Hunter, engineered the first water-driven ceiling fan for Tuerk Water Meter Co. in Syracuse, NY. By 1896, they had acquired Tuerk company, transforming it into the Hunter Fan & Motor Co. and launching the AC-powered Tuerk Type A fan in Fulton, NY. Over the years, Hunter expanded its product line to include oscillating desk fans, pedestal fans, attic fans, air conditioning units, air purifiers, humidifiers and even decorative lighting.
