Designed by Tokyo-based YOY, the studio sees their work at the intersection of space and object. The object in this table lamp is only half of the equation. It stands with grace over one’s table as a slender metal form with tapered features. Light travels up the piece’s stem and exits horizontally through the top’s shapely cut-out. The result is a diffused cast glow on the wall that comforts in its familiarity. The glow creates a pleasant, nurturing ambiance.

In 1999, Londoners Steve Jones and Russell Cameron decided to build a design brand based on collaboration with the vast pool of design talent in London. Naming that brand Innermost, they went to work compiling a collection of contemporary lighting and furniture.
