Xtreme H2O Ceiling Fan

I read a lot of the reviews for this fan that it did not move air well, and while some expect an 84" fan to provide an overwhelming amount of air, I just wanted it to circulate air in my living room. It does this beautifully, quietly, and it looks like a more expensive unit than it is. The fact that the receiver is built into the fan motor itself and doesn't require you to jam another piece of hardware into a small space at the attachment point made installation a breeze and made the unit more stable in my situation as I'm on a vaulted ceiling which limits the amount of room available at the ceiling attachment point. Already considering a 2nd. My unit is indoor so I can't speak to how well it would work outdoors.

Bought one for every room in our house. Will blow you away. Keeps mentality bill down in summer AND winter! Looks modern/farmhouse...excellent product!!!

the fan works great and was well packaged-- fixing the blades to the fan in the air is not so easy and we opted to tape the plate to the blade each time prior to bolting-- that was the sole negative.

The fan is big and very nice looking, my only issue is even on the highest speed it does not go very fast. I was expecting a lot more wind speed. I do like the fan very clean looking and quiet.

This fan is very expensive as is most fans that are over 60". That being said it does seem that the quality could improve. Installed this fan last year outside under a huge covered porch. Well the wind blows outside some which is normal. This fan should be more based as in inside fan where there is no wind. The mount where the blades attach seems to be good thickness and sturdy until you mount long blades to it and then it becomes flimsy. I have gone through 2 of these so far because it seems the wind blowing 5 mph bends the metal and then you have several sagging blades. Next issue is the downrod should lock in place so the fan cannot tilt. It will lock in the ball socket but the downrod can still let the fan tilt, hence almost scraping the ceiling as the wind blows. Other than these issues which could easily be fixed by placing the fan inside a enclosed house or patio the manufacturer should increase the sturdiness of several of these parts. Without these issues the fan has been great and have received many compliments.
