Key Features

Handmade
Made in Vietnam
The White Earth Tray from Serax is a wide, shallow dish raised on a central pedestal foot, with two curved handles flanking the base and a heavily textured outer surface that fully exposes the material. Made from papier-mâché by Marie Michielssen, the piece carries an almost geological quality across its outer walls, while the interior bowl remains smoother by comparison. The rough texture and irregular surface are central to the design, and no two plates come out of the making process with the same finish.
