The Wedged Bench from Uttermost drapes a soft, cushioned seat over a solid wood frame, the fabric falling down the sides like a waterfall. Matthew Williams built the frame from medium-toned oak veneer, then topped it with a faux sheepskin cover in a soft ivory shade. The drape covers the frame's edge completely at the front, while the legs beneath stay fully exposed, showing the oak's grain at each end.

Uttermost

The Uttermost venture started in 1975 when Bob and Belle Cooper opened shop in Rocky Mountain, Virginia, largely as a manufacturer of mirrors. Still family owned, Uttermost has expanded to include many more lighting fixtures in their line and has a branch in Riverside, California as well as a strong working relationship with their employees in Guanxi, China.
