Vuoto LED Wall Sconce

I purchased four of these fixtures only to have a very rude surprise when it came time to install them. Very clean, modern design definitely makes a statement. Warm, consistent lighting. BUT this product was clearly designed to be installed with a European - specifically a German DIN - electrical junction box. The Vuoto comes with an AC/DC convertor that will not fit into a shallow octagonal US junction box OR any octagonal junction box in which the wiring enters from the rear of the box, any two sides, or one side with multiple romex cables. There is simply is not enough room. I literally had to remove the octagonal boxes, redirect the wiring and/or and modify the box with a hack saw. Installation took roughly 1-2 hours per light depending on the junction box layout, which is shameful for any lighting product at any price. Sonneman should have built the AC/DC convertor into the light fixture - instead they cut corners and the result will be unusable for most customers. This fixture needs a redesign.
