Virga LED Pendant Light

I'm very happy with the Virga LED light in my new kitchen. It is centered over a small island (7 feet x 3-1/2 feet) and adds very good accent lighting. In conjunction with LED downlights it works well. My goals was to light the counter only, with very little spill light into the adjacent living room. I appreciate the very small dimensions of the light and its very nice detailing. The canopy box is larger than I'd like, but it's necessary to house the LED driver.

This is a wonderfully made pendant fixture. The body is a heavy aluminum bar cut away at the ends to house simple led lamps. I am in mid-construction on my own new kitchen and haven't yet been able to mount the fixture. The very thin vertical hang rod arrived slightly bent (I've bent it back) but its fragility worries me in an active kitchen. Only time will tell if it can withstand regular use (and abuse). That said, it's very beautiful and wonderfully executed.

Beautifully milled product that strikes a nice balance between modern and industrial design. Lights are bright, but not overwhelming and accommodates most dimmers. My only complaint was the shipping. The product was not shipped in a rugged box and the hanging strut was severely bent upon delivery. I was able to bend it back to straight, but this shouldn't happen with appropriate shipping containers. All they need is a rugged cardboard tube.

I installed this over a wet bar, and it was the perfect choice. The profile is so minimal you barely notice it's there until it's turned on -- and the lamp works flawlessly with a dimmer. At full brightness, it gives the power of task lighting, and dimmed to about 25% strength it's great accent lighting. Design and execution are fab -- these appear to be completely hand tooled, very impressive.

Love this light. Installed above my home office desk provides excellent light and gets lots of compliments. Very thin and sleek. Finish and level of materials are first rate. Installation was very straightforward.
