Key Features
A beautifully lit graphic design of vibrating shapes. The Venti Floor Lamp from Slamp fills your rooms with a sense of calm and relaxation. It’s a piece of functional art showcasing the expressive mode of icon Alessandro Mendini’s work. As his celebrated designs show, Mendini breaks from tradition. He makes the diffuser the central aspect of the piece, beautifying it with a concentric arrangement of round shapes. To complement the smoothness of the shapes and give the light a soft touch, the diffuser calls for an innovative technopolymer and crystal glass material aptly called Opalflex. The Opalflex is treated like a sculpture, presented in two curved sheets with sleek metal trimmings holding them together. Bulbs radiate a clean glow that glazes and silhouettes the mesmerizing shapes. In a towering figure, light exits out as a spacious ambient glow.
First conceived in 1994 by Italian designer Roberto Ziliani, Slamp lighting has garnered world recognition as being at the top of a very short list of innovative and envelope-pushing lighting companies. Their range of products made of cutting-edge polymer plastics are cold-formed to avoid CO2 emissions, while excess scraps are recycled into beehives. Slamp, with their resounding mantra, "From Italy to Eternity," sets the stage for their newest and most avant-garde collections yet.
