Suspended from above by a stepped circular ceiling mount, it uses a single downrod to extend a potent single-socket below. The socket itself blooms from a cylindrical housing that holds both the lamping and the bell-shaped shade of clear glass that extends around it, easily able to blunt bright light from the sides while extending a tight wash of downlight below.

Hunter Fans

In 1886, the foundation for Hunter Fans was laid when John Hunter and his son, John C. Hunter, engineered the first water-driven ceiling fan for Tuerk Water Meter Co. in Syracuse, NY. By 1896, they had acquired Tuerk company, transforming it into the Hunter Fan & Motor Co. and launching the AC-powered Tuerk Type A fan in Fulton, NY. Over the years, Hunter expanded its product line to include oscillating desk fans, pedestal fans, attic fans, air conditioning units, air purifiers, humidifiers and even decorative lighting.
