Universal Fan-Light Wall Control

Wall switch integrates well with fan/light, Alexa, HomeKit, and Simple Connect app

I'm flabbergasted that they're selling this product with such a poorly thought-out design. It requires two AAA batteries that have to be installed in the wall, behind the switch. When those batteries die, you have to remove the switch from the wall in order to replace them! It makes absolutely no sense that a switch in the wall, connected to household current, would require batteries to work. Why aren't the electronics powered by the household current? Seems like extremely lazy and poor design, definitely not what I would have expected from a well-known brand like Hunter. I'm going to return the switch AND the fan and go with another brand.

The wiring was a piece of cake but I had problems with the pairing (we have three fans in three rooms). The product lacked documentation about how to do this. I ended up finding instructions that had you take down the canopy, etc. This was totally unnecessary. Fortunately support cleared it up in a couple of emails. The product was not exactly as pictured and uses shiny metal screws. That was disappointing. The controls work great and this is a better solution to the standard wall switch and remote we had previously. No more looking for the remote!

Bought 6 fans. All with wall remotes. All the fans work great. But this control is not "white" so plan accordingly. Also it would be great if it would at least "beep" to tell you what level has been selected.

I have the Casablanca outdoor fan so this comes with it. This would be 5 stars easily but why do you have the power option so readily available. It's the same size as all of the buttons. People come in and hit that button and then the game has no power. If you have simple connect setup you automatically lose connection. Bye bye smart home automation.
