Universal Fan-Light Remote Control with Receiver

The fan makes a constant vroom vroom sound which is very annoying. We have always had Hunter fans but this one does not stand up to the quality of our others.

Wish it were white like first one. This one is gray. Little difficulty with light dimming vs. changing fan speed

Great airflow and beautiful to look at. So quiet you don't hear a thing.

I bought this remote control a month ago to pair with  a new Hunter ceiling fan. My electrician installed it. This remote control is a disaster.  You can't tell when the fan has been turned off. There's no off button. And often when I hit the fan button,  which is supposed to turn it off, it doesn't turn off.  The arrows for increasing or lowering the speed are not good because you can't see what speed the fan is set on and it's often dark.  Forget the dimming light control. One button to do that? Worst of all, though,  is that I actually have to take a flashlight in the middle of the night to see if I've *turned the fan off* because there's no way to know from the remote and it often doesn't turn off.  It often keeps running on low, despite hitting the fan button, which should turn it off. Oh, I don't love waking up and turning my phone flashlight on to look at my ceiling fan. Disaster! Won't buy Hunter again.

Remote does not have a reverse fan button. Others I have do. Other than that, remote works great.
