I bought this lamp in black to replace a brighter 3-bulb lamp that was taking up too much desk space. I love that it is adjustable and the design letting light through middle of the shade. That said, I am withholding one star because I wish it could accommodate to a brighter bulb. Would recommend other lamps if you need more light.

I was looking for a lower profile lamp for my desk. Loved look of this lamp. Given the max wattage it takes, it was just not throwing off enough light. I considered a return, but ultimately opted to add a 2nd lamp, exact same. Much better. A rather expensive solution, but still like the look (and flexible arm).

We love this desk lamp. How parts of the light comes form the back makes it very elegant. Also the tone is perfect for the room and beside table we place it. I truly recommend it if you are looking for something with awesome design and good quality

Anglepoise started in 1899 by Herbert Terry and sons. They originally sold products that used their springs, like toasters, bike seats and spring clips.
