A classic shape with a modern twist, the Lee Broom Tulip Decanterlight Mini pendant is part of a collection that was originally made from real vintage decanters. Now made from hand-cut lead crystal, the Tulip allows twinkling light to shine through for a luxurious look and feel. The clear shade also allows you to see the gold bulb socket which also matches the gold suspension cord.
Mastering multiple design disciplines, Lee Broom is heavily inspired by the history of British design, from both a decorative and manufacturing perspective. His work regularly references his homeland’s past, though just as regularly offers a slight subversion of those traditional motifs and techniques in his contemporary recontextualizations. Since 2010, he's been collecting British Design Awards on a regular basis, including recognition in 2011 as Designer of the Year and a 2012 nod for his Crystal Bulb, a modern reframing of traditional cut crystal craftsmanship.
