Key Features

Made in Italy
Versatile and sophisticated. The Tic Tac Wall Clock from Kartell is a timepiece that goes with any modern decor. The brand’s first wall clock, it features a case fronted by a clear ABS case engraved with Roman numerals. The white hour, minute, and second hands are made of metal and rotate around the clock face, contrasting with the black background and pointing to the numerals in front. It’s impressively thick, and lights will reflect off of it in interesting and appealing ways.

FUTURISTIC MODERN STYLE

I was at first not satisfied with this product because at 3:00 o'clock the the minute and hour hands weren't perpendicular to each other, the angle wasn't precisely 90 degrees. I called Kartell and they immediately responded by letting the vendor know, and Yliving responded by sending me an email in which they stated they were sending me a replacement product. The prompt responses, on the part of Kartell as well as Yliving, was gratifying and restored my confidence in both the manufacturer and the seller. I use the clock not suspended on the wall but rather sitting on the top of my bookcase. It is spare, minimalist in design, and complements my other pieces.

The clock which I received is not what is shown on the website. It has three hands (second hand included) not two as shown and the Kartell logo is at the bottom of the clock not in the center as shown. Additionally STARK is missing. Nowhere on the clock face does it say STARK. I am a bit disappointed by this as I really liked the look and design of the clock shown on the website versus what I received. Details make a difference to me. Regardless I am keeping it as I couldn't find another retailer which sold the version with two hands and the STARK logo.

Kartell

Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
