Made in France
The Praying Mantis Floor Lamp by Rispal is a classic French design by Georges Rispal in 1950. Named after "La Mante Religieuse", or the Praying Mantis, the floor lamp features beautifully arced legs with a pleated white lamp shade made from similar materials around in the 1950s. The structure is made from French walnut and is crafted by hand. The floor lamp can be used for ambient lighting in office or living spaces.

Very high level of color variance
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I ordered the Praying Mantis Lamp in white ash. The item I received had two legs that were very different colors as you can see in the pictures. While I understand that some natural color variance is to be expected, this is extremely noticeable and quite disappointing for a lamp that costs more than $2k. I expected better from such a well known manufacturer.
