hunterfan.comWe bought two of these fans for our large newly renovated living room area. The fans were easy to install, look really nice, are quiet, and move a lot of air. I highly recommend. My only complaint is that the "ceiling plate hooks", which hold the canopy during installation, are not painted matte black, like the rest of the fan. We will most likely try and paint the hooks, as the gold hooks stand out a little bit, compared to the rest of the matte black fan.

In 1886, the foundation for Hunter Fans was laid when John Hunter and his son, John C. Hunter, engineered the first water-driven ceiling fan for Tuerk Water Meter Co. in Syracuse, NY. By 1896, they had acquired Tuerk company, transforming it into the Hunter Fan & Motor Co. and launching the AC-powered Tuerk Type A fan in Fulton, NY. Over the years, Hunter expanded its product line to include oscillating desk fans, pedestal fans, attic fans, air conditioning units, air purifiers, humidifiers and even decorative lighting.
