An arresting comingling of two conical glass forms of different sizes handblown by Czech artisans, it offers several design variants on the basic form, while each piece flares out above and below, tapering inward to meet at a central point. SkLO

Located in Northern California, SkLO is the brainchild of artist Karen Gilbert, architect Paul Pavlak, and Czech-native Pavel Hanousek. The three met in Healdsburg in 2009, and after discovering a unanimous passion for hand-blown glass (sklo means “glass” in Czech), they decided to create a multi-disciplinary studio focusing on glass lighting and accessory design.
