The quality of the materials on this clock are fantastic. The only issue we had was the installation template provided, while easy to use, if used as indicated it located the brass tick marks at visually uneven locations around the "face" of the clock. We used this as a starting point and then manually adjusted locations so that they would look evenly distributed from afar. Another minor aesthetic issue is that the when clock motor rotates the long hand, the long hand because of it length, weight and brass counter balance slightly "bounces/vibrates" ever so slightly as it rotates around the clock. This might be solves by replacing the clock movement/motor by a higher quality one.
