Rectangular Table Runners

Why We Love Table Runners

Make an elegant statement on your tabletop with a modern table runner. Table decoration gives you the opportunity to put your sense of style on display for dinner guests to see. And for quiet evenings or a meal for one, a table runner still enhances the decoration of the room you'll be sure to appreciate. When combined with placemats, dinnerware and other tabletop accents, you're guaranteed to have a well-dressed dining room you'll want to show off.

Where Table Runners Work Best

Laid out across the formal dining table is where a runner finds its home, on display to represent to your preferred aesthetics. Typically for fashion rather than function, decorative table runners are the perfect accent for weddings, holiday parties, celebratory gatherings, formal dinner parties and occasions where the dining room deserves to be dressed to the nines. A table runner can also successfully cover the kitchen table too. And while being mostly a decorative ornament in your rooms, you'll find these runners go a long way in keeping the surface of your table protected as well. Lastly, choose an outdoor-friendly table runner for use during spring or summertime patio dining.

A Table Runner for Every Style

Giving your dining space a refreshed personality can be as easy as changing out the table runner. Choosing the Best Table Runner

To find the best table runner for your kitchen or dining table, begin by getting measurements of the table. Look for length, width and its height to help you choose the best runner. Be especially concerned with the length of the runner for long, extension dining tables. Consider the complete look of the tabletop and choose complementing placemats, place settings and dinnerware. You'll find table decorations often belong to the same family of products, allowing you to redecorate your tablescape with one consistent look and feel. Remember to choose colors that blend into the space, or opt for something that will stand out from your tabletop. Modern dining furniture gives the room the look it needs by combining stylish tables with side chairs, arm chairs and plentiful storage. An area rug positioned under the dining table gives the floor a sense of character all on its own, while also ensuring your floors stay well-protected. Finally, finish off your refresh with a dining table centerpiece to bring the whole room together.
