Beautiful, high quality, art piece
Because of Sputnik's high price tag, I shopped around and compared with different chandeliers before finally purchasing it. What I found was that this fixture may be 3 times more expensive than the other sputnik-like fixtures that I considered, but its quality, construction and presentation is at least 3 times better. It looks great with clear candelabra bulbs. Love it!
Review of Jonathan Adler Sputnik
Having grown up in the day of the sputnik I was very intrigued with the design of the chandelier. It is even lovlier hanging in our entry way than I had imagined. The design is perfect and the light that it gives off is adjustable and just right for the space. This is a really special design that delivers in every way that you want a chandelier to deliver. Adler's designs are innovative yet functional, modern but with a bit of history built in. I can't say enough good things about happy our entire family is with this purchase.

Jonathan Adler
Jonathan Adler fell in love with pottery at an early age after taking a class at summer camp. Though he attended Brown University, Adler confesses to spending most of his time at the Rhode Island School of Design inspired by high fashion icons like Chanel. After his first order from Barney's, Adler quickly learned that he needed help.
