The Speers S1 Pendant from B.lux make a bold, contemporary statement overhead, pairing a small domed crown with a broad, sweeping brim. The wide shade flares outward from the dome’s base, framing a round lens tucked beneath it, while a slim cord suspends the piece. Made from aluminum, copper, and brass, the fixture houses a high-luminance LED, and its glass lens focuses the light for greater efficiency. The result is a defined pool of light below, suited to a dining table, kitchen island, or reading area.

B.lux was started in 1981 in Markina in Spain's Basque Country on the Northern Iberian Peninsula. To this day, they still operate in the region from the picturesque town of Gizaburuaga, in facilities which contain warehousing, manufacturing and a 2,000 square-foot showroom.
