We live on the coast and our other ceiling fans rusted terribly even though they were outdoor fans. We bought these 3 fans and love them. They are amazing in the rain and winds along the coast of NC. Durable and beautiful.

Hunter Fans

In 1886, the foundation for Hunter Fans was laid when John Hunter and his son, John C. Hunter, engineered the first water-driven ceiling fan for Tuerk Water Meter Co. in Syracuse, NY. By 1896, they had acquired Tuerk company, transforming it into the Hunter Fan & Motor Co. and launching the AC-powered Tuerk Type A fan in Fulton, NY. Over the years, Hunter expanded its product line to include oscillating desk fans, pedestal fans, attic fans, air conditioning units, air purifiers, humidifiers and even decorative lighting.
