Crafted through the fire and the flames. The Scala Hand-Forged Table Lamp from Visual Comfort lays atop one’s surfaces as a one-of-a-kind functional sculpture, defined by rhythmic contours. This transitional piece highlights the strong yet pliable properties of metal. Metalsmiths combine 4 tall, curved segments into a striking column. The metalsmith’s touch shows in the subtle curves of each segment. The artful shapes stand in contrast to the time-tested drum shape of the percale shade. While filtering a radiating glow, the light streaming through the shade’s opening enhances the hand-forged metal in silhouette.
