Thin flimsy metal, inconsistent paint, doesnt sit flush on the wall. Don't bother with these. They're too expensive to be this cheap.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Affordable, well made sconce with nice design

This sconce added a nice design element to my bathroom, placed on either side of a mirror. I wanted something well-made, but not expensive, with just a hint of "retro" flair. At this price point I wasn't sure if the quality would be good, but this is in fact a solid, well made lamp that finishes nicely. One word of advice: a "fiesta" or "candle" bulb may not fit in the shade, but tubular bulbs do. The GE LED Bright Stik is a perfect fit. I recommend the 9w / 800 lumen bulb as maximum brightness if mounted at eye level.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
