Love the simplicity and functionality
Verified Buyer
I just had this installed in a dark north facing front bedroom...what a great addition! It is simple and unobtrusive, but gives off a ton of light and I have it on a dimmer so it can be very soft for evening. I like the fact that it disappears into the ceiling, yet has the small detail on the bottom. It doesn't scream any particular style. Timeless.

Nice Quality Light
This is a nice quality ceiling fixture if you are looking for something simple, but elegant. It provides a lot of light and the diffuser lies flat and even. The size is appropriate for a small area near my front door entrance. Installation was made more difficult because the ball nuts or caps that hold the canopy in place would not screw on. I had to use the ones from the fixture I had just taken down. Fortunately this part does not show because it doesn't match. I am happy with my purchase other than the one bad part.
Maxim Lighting
Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
