I just had this installed by an electrician. Cheap bell sound for this price point. What a disappointment. I'm stuck with a piece of junk.

I loved the door bell while it worked, but it lasted only two years. There are soldered wires inside the unit that became undone. It's an expensive piece of junk now.

It does work with RING but you must use the little adapter that comes with the new ring system. I had an electrical install it. It sounds great and looks good as well.

After searching for years, I purchased Spore's Ring Doorbell Chime to replace the enormous ugly chime that was in my 1950s house when I bought it. After 4 years with wires sticking out of the wall, I decided it was finally time to finish this project and couldn't be happier with my simple new chime.
