The Jonathan Adler Reform Credenza is a truly spectacular piece. Inspired by the Brutalist architecture of modernist temples and churches from Le Corbusier’s Ronchamp to Miami’s Temple Israel to the Cathedral of Brasilia, Reform presents a highly-sophisticated design. Making each door takes 8-12 hours—it’s pattern is carved onto wooden doors, clad in a single sheet of brass which is hand-hammered, and then polished to perfection. Reform is crafted from oak which has been ebonized and limed, which harmonizes flawlessly with its solid brass legs. Its look is completed with a small bevel on the solid oak casing, a float between the oak and the brass cabinet, and touch-latch closing mechanisms.
As a designer, artist and author, Jonathan Adler has made stylish, creative and joyful living for all his eternal goal. Beginning with his first ceramic collection in 1994, Adler’s designs today range from pillows and picture frames to furniture and lighting. Jonathan Adler’s dedication to crafting fine modern lighting and home furnishings is reflected in his company motto, “If your heirs won’t fight over it, we won’t make it.”
