Bringing design elements forged in the Middle Ages into the modern era, the Hubbardton Forge Reach Table Lamp features an angled base that calls to mind the flying buttresses of a gothic cathedral. The highly dramatic lines of the base are tempered by the slim wrought iron and spare detailing, while the conical shade's skewed lines offer a decidedly contemporary touch.

Attractive and Practical

I chose this lamp because I am over 60 and it provides good task lighting, with a maximum 100 watt bulb. And it also gives ambient light with a transparent shade; and both of these features are the best combo for work and reading. Now I have the lamp. It is not a cheap lamp, but and it is it worth the money because not only is it practical it is aesthetically pleasing.
