Radius Table Lamp

The Radius Table Lamp from Mazzega 1946 extends a bubbly, bold wash of light in all directions. An Italian-built fixture designed with an eye toward artistry as well as function, it relies on a slim disc base and slender central stem to place potent lamping beneath a drum shade made of several satin glass bands. Each shade is capped off by a disc that rests in its upper end, while bands of different colors juxtapose themselves with pale central segments that curve towards slender openings on the side. This arrangement mostly mellows glare to the sides, splashing out a blend of elegant ambiance around a focused wash of downlight below.
