Made in Italy on the island of Murano, its robust metal frame seats lamping close to its ceiling mounting surface, relying on a curving shade of hand-made glass strips bounded by colored edges. This translucent layer softens excess brightness from above, mixing a warm glow from above with a softly reflected wash of light that passes out to the sides, enlivening an extensive spread beneath it.
