A simple graceful luminary composed of geometrical forms. The Press LED Flushmount by George Kovacs is a welcome addition to hallways, living spaces, and bedrooms. It features a circular acrylic shade encircled by a steel disc that is affixed to the ceiling with a round canopy. This divided shade houses an LED light source that produces a warm glow, accentuated by the reflective disc, creating an exciting play of light and shadow.

George Kovacs was born 1926 in Vienna, Austria. After moving to the US, Kovacs was enticed in 1954 to market J.T. Kalmar lamps. Inspired by the success of that endeavor--and the observed popularity of such contemporary lighting--Kovacs expanded his lighting import and design business (with locations throughout New York).
